McMaster University will host the Ontario-Quebec Stats & Control Meeting in May 31st – June 1, 2018.
The raw agenda for the meeting is posted here.
Room 1110, Michael DeGroote Centre for Learning and Discovery (MDCL), McMaster University.
The MDCL is Building 52 in the campus map.
Registration is $50 per person, payable by cash or cheque (to “McMaster University”). The conference dinner on Thursday is included, as are breakfast, lunch, and coffee on both days.
A block of rooms has been set aside for out-of-town students attending this meeting, for the nights of May 30 and May 31, at $65 per night, per person. We will send out a link shortly for booking rooms in this block.
Presentations should be 20 minutes long, followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion. Where possible, try to make your talk accessible to a hypothetical first-year grad student who is working in a different PSE discipline. Preliminary work is encouraged as well; please note at the start of your talk if you’d like feedback on your ongoing work.
6pm on Thursday, at the Phoenix Bar and Grill (Building 4 in the campus map). Dinner and soft drinks are included with registration.
Last-minute campus accommodation may be booked here, or via phone at +1-905-525-9140 ext. 27222, subject to availability.
