The Division’s AGM was held yesterday at the CCEC in Halifax. Thank you for all that attended. There was much discussion about current issues and projects such as membership, the LAPSE database, the ISO standard development project, and an upcoming workshop in Toronto on IDAES. We continue to need volunteers to help with the website, LAPSE, and many other areas. Any interested people are encouraged to contact Tom Adams (tadams@mcmaster.ca).

The election for the 2019-2022 cohort of officers was held, with some positions uncontested. The new cohort is:
- Chair – Thomas A. Adams II (McMaster)
- Vice-Chair – Jinfeng Liu (Alberta)
- Treasurer – Nicolas Hudon (Queens)
- Secretary – Yankai Cao (UBC)
